Differentiation
Differentiation is the fair instruction provided to students by creating multiple paths to give students with different abilities, interests, or experiences as equal opportunities to learn.

Gifted and Talented
Tiered Instruction
Gate students have a different level of readiness thus providing them with tiered assignment, challenges their gifted abilities.Two- to three- levels of an activity encourage talented students to demonstrate their skills by more than one method. They have opportunities to collaborate closely with other learners to find solutions with depth and complexity.
Project Based-Learning
Gifted and talented students will learn by actively engaging in meaningful real-world projects. Projects are self-directed, allowing Gate students to work at their own pace. The open-endedness stimulates their higher-order thinking as well as interest. As a result, a development of intellectual and emotional abilities heighten through the exploration of unique ideas.

Special Education
Kinesthetic Approach
Auditory, visual, and tactile objects will be offered to enforce a concrete ability to learn. The multi-sensory approach stimulates every bodily sense to experience lessons through multiple pathways. Sped students can internalize a stronger connection to the learning and surpass cognitive limitations. This approach will enhance students to be the illustrators and builders of information.
Flexible Groups
Students can participate in various groupings. They will be encouraged to practice reciprocal learning, wherein they question their classmates for additional support and learn from each other. Teacher scaffolding will initiate a direct path of support from their struggles to their strengths. Multiple options for comprehending and implementing information.

English Learners
Dual-Media Accessibility
Learners of a new language require the exposure alphabetic principle and its function. English language learners will immerse themselves in visuals, charts, texts, and technologies that utilize bilingual translations. Simplified materials motivate students to expand their knowledge by reading and writing in a language familiar to them.
Cultural Funds of Knowledge
Students actively interact with interests of their culture, subsequently this knowledge will be integrated into their activities to enhance their learning. Lessons will be designed to captivate the EL learner. The method is effective in retaining engagement because students enjoy sharing with colleagues the different learning styles. With emphasis on the student, they will approach enrichment of the curriculum.

Assessment
Differentiation is equitable in evaluating the students' needs to advance their skills and be able to fully express their means of learning by providing an analysis of their progress.

Gifted and Talented
Creative Solutions
Gate students can develop new knowledge to resolve real-world problems by composing responses through multiple intelligences. Creative responses may be done by linguistic, logical, bodily, visual, musical, interpersonal, intrapersonal, or naturalist ideas. The purpose of creative solutions are a valid form of assessment that complements a diverse learning style.
Representation of Cognitive Processes​
The gifted and talented will have the option to use metacognition techniques. In tandem with individual procedures, students can use mind maps to reflect on ideas and construct representative models. This form of assessment involve practical application as well as personal interest.Student cognitive processes are learned through analytical approach wherin they question what humans must do to survive in society.

Special Education
Alternative Modifications​
Students performing not at grade level are granted fundamentally-altered standards. Test preparations, removal of time limits, change in location, and student responses are considerations to produce participation. Spellchecker, word banks, and arithmetic charts are provided to ensure a stress-free settings for tests.
Changes in Expectations​
A docket of alternative assignments methods are made available to coincide with student choice of response. They can complete the task in video, skit, or a suggested format in their preferred setting as well as schedule. The expectations will be high; however, the response is aligned to the student's ability to present knowledge of new concepts.

English Learners
Non-Verbal Assessment
English language students are going to have the chance to demonstrate their understanding through non-traditional print assessments. A menu of choices including: collage, diagrams, videos, or art. An alternative to visual presentations includes oral tests. The intent is to have ELLs display their understanding in a way that maximizes their product.
Supplemental Tools
Additional time is granted for ESL learners for there is a clear understanding that there is a transfer of knowledge through language that demands added attention. Congruently, they can access their note-taking journals or texts to identify what is being asked. Translation devices are encouraged for they will create a comfortable environment.
